here are some other facts that are happier in my mind.

She met my family many months before i was home.

This girl here, inspires me in many different ways, to create more, to work harder, and to love longer…

anyways a couple of days ago i got a reply, and it made me chuckle a bit.

Today at one point as i was thinking about Jaylene flying home to vancouver,

i suddenly felt very proud of her.

This feeling kind of came out of no where. After thinking about it more it makes sense,

She is amazing.

She is very hard working and determined to do good in school, something i know she is very capable of even if she doubts it at sometimes.

She is passionate, loves life, and loves others around her.

She is creative and understands me better then most people in the world,

and i love her.

Well another time of us being together, complete, has come and gone. This time Jaylene flew out to Hawaii to visit me for 9 days. it was so wonderful. A time of refreshment and coming back together.

She flew in and the first weekend we went camping with a whole group of people. that was a lot of fun we got to go all over the island. but one observation form that is how different couples act from single people, it was just really funny to see.

Then the rest of the week we hung out almost constantly except when i had meetings to go to. On Tuesday though was a certain day by the name of Valentine. that was a most wonderful day. it seemed like a normal day, with homework and work duty, then in the evening i said that jaylene had to wait for me in the room until i would come and get her. but what she didn’t know was that i was running to the store to get her flowers, and then pick her up for our date. The thought behind it was that it would be almost like a normal date, which is something special for us because we have not had the most normal dating life so far. So we walked downtown, and sat on the wall and just talked and discussed different topics. Then it was time for our dinner reservations, so i got to lead her to dinner cause i didn’t tell her where we were going. we Went to a place called Huggo’s. i know it has a weird name but it was such a nice resteraunt with life music and we sat right above the ocean. it was so romantic. After dinner we just sat down on our wall and were together, it was rather nice.

Wednesday was Jaylene’s 21st birthday, so we started the day off going for a sunset swim at 5:30 in the morning, it was a lot of fun super cold but it was so cool to be swimming in the water as the sun rose. Then we went out o breakfast, and i got her to like coffee, it was a monumental occurrence in her life. this is one of my favorite quotes that she said

Then we went back to base and do the normal day things, except on that day for work duty i run a movie in the theater for the children, so we watched that together, and oh my… it was a terrible movie, i really didn’t understand a lot of what was going on there some kids a singing competition, a fountain, it was really odd. but anyways, later in the day i said that we had to separate once again, but this time so i could go and set up a scavenger hunt for her. So i left her in the hands of Sarah, and i left to walk the route off base downtown and out to queens bath(Where we had our first kiss back in november 2010) leaving clues along the way. all along the street leading up to queens Bath i had pictures, and saying/song lyrics written on the road in sidewalk chalk. And at queens Bath i had set up a picnic for her with a bunch of food and wee candles, and a blanket. it was so much fun to see her reaction as she saw me standing off on the lava rocks. We hung out there and talk about many wonderful things about life, and the future. and listened to music. it was so much fun.

The next couple of days we were just together, having fun doing homework together, i have to say i really enjoy just doing normal things together, cause it is something we don’t get to do that often. We went swimming again at 5:30 the next three mornings, it was a great way to wake up everyday. a think a tradition might have been born when we are in Kona together.

Saturday was a long day it was os much fun though. We left at 5:30 then didn’t get back on base until about 9:30 at night. So left and went to our normal swimming spot at the pier, then after warming up a bit we just sat in the grass together, talking about different topics taking turns taking naps, and enjoying the sunlight. then at 11ish we walked along the highway up to the movie theater and saw Star Wars in 3D, this was rather exciting because previously no one had been able to get Jaylene to watch Star Wars, so i was very proud to be the one that did finally convince her to watch them. She liked and had fun, so i was happy. We also got these really cool red 3D glasses, and if you know us we both wen through a phase where we wore just the frames of 3D glasses. After the moving we walked over to target, and played a game where we would seperate for 20 minutes, or so then go buy an item of clothing for each other, with out the other knowing what it was. it was a lot of fun. I got her a blue sun dress with a flower pattern on it. then we walked back to queens bath and just sat by the ocean, then we danced and sang to each other as the waves came crashing in on the shore. it was wonderful, kind of dream like. Then we went out to dinner together, and just enjoyed being together. When we got back to base we tried to watch a movie together but we were so exhausted so we only got 30 minutes in.

Sunday was our last day together, so we went at 5:00 to go swimming, so there was no on around a that time. but it was rather over cast, and sprinkling so we couldnt sit in our spot again, so we found another spot on the grass and just chilled for a bit. then walked up the hill to drop a roll of film off then sit at Starbucks while we did homework. I sketched tree’s and roots, while jaylene practises chinese characters. We had a rather calm day just talking and being together the whole day.

This time being together was completely different then others, we kind of felt like we were restarting in a way. it’s along thought process we talked through that i would rather not try to write out. but it was good so it was very refreshing for our relationship. There is exactly 2 month until we get to be together again, this time though i will be flying out to Vancouver, first to see my sister graduate then to be with Jaylene.

From this time together i feel like we have grown more together than most of our other times together, it was just different. : )

The creation of the book is coming along it seemed slow and like we were not getting anywhere at first but now we are moving right along working on stories and research. we have a title so that is pretty swell.

On another it is super windy today….

and Jaylene flies in on friday, so i am beyond excited for that, there are many plans in the works for when she is here, well the first weekend we are going camping with a bunch of my time, then the other plan involve valentines day and her birthday so i can’t say what those are yet. : )

There you go every single flight i have been on since i joined ywam in april 2010, yes alot has happened inbetween all of this flying such as falling in love with India, and meeting jaylene and falling fror her, surviving the first year of Track, meeting tons of new people that i will never forget, surprisingly never getting sick except for about 2 days, and thats with out any shots what so ever. i say thats pretty impressive.
